Our capable and dedicated team finds vulnerable and children living with a disability in the community.We supply funding to cover their school expenses,equip them with the appropriate school gear as we attempt to close the societal gaps.
2. We Build Networks
We are building networks within communities liasing with different educational stakeholders. We create useful lifelong benificial linkages in the communities with organisations in order to mobilise resources to achieve our goals
3. We Strengthen
As we are focused on collaboration ,inviting leadership from community groups helps demonstrate that their participation in valued and their views considered thus building trust and strenghtening relationships.
4. We Educate
With engagement from the local community/parents/guardians,school authorities identitfy disabled ,marginalised ,isolate children and fund their education in schools that have the tailored education for them.
5. We Provide Care
Through the delivery of best practice, equipped to operate with integrity, empathy, dedication, enthusiasm and hope we engage with schools and local communities to provide our services with the best care.
6. We Consult
We listen and learn alongside with our partners bring expertise in education, disability and community health attempting to break the cycle of hopelessness, isolation and poverty.
Our Programs
iThembelihle Closet
Ithembelihle Closet is for our volunteers and donors to work under collecting and organising clothes for the children from New Born to 16 years.You might have clothes in your closet that you know you are not going to use or wear ,how about you give them to some one in need and who would make use of them If you have any clothes that you want to donate, kindly fill out the following form and the team will get back to you on how to go about it .
iThembelihle’s Dignity Box
We sometimes take for granted some things that we assume are little such as a having bathing of soap, washing soap ,Tooth paste ,Tooth brush ,Deodorant or roll on.These are some of the things that go a long way in helping our vulnerable children walk with pride among peers.If you wish to be part of the team that works in helping our children with their personal hygiene by donating products or money to this cause kindly click on the form below.

iThembelihle’s 30 Wheel chairs initiative Join us a we work to being the light in someone’s life by being part of the wheel chair initiative.We have children living with a disability and have their lives sadly affected by the inability to be mobile and be part of the community because of their disability.Your contribution to this project will go a long way to seeing to the improvement of the quality of life for that child living with a disability .
iThembelihle’s School Fees
Education is a fundamental right to every child.Such is the importance of child education that it falls under the United Nations Sustainable Goal 4 which aims for all boys and girls to have access to primary and secondary school.The school fees programme is aimed at getting into the classrooms as many children as we can and with your consistent help, contribution that is greatly possible. We are appealing for donations of dry and tinned foods to add to our food bank where we regularly give to different charities and vulnerable families in our listings.Please feel free to give out be it cash or kind to helping children not to go hungry .
